Holy Thursday: The Feast of Love
Holy Thursday, also known as Maundy Thursday, is a day that commemorates the Last Supper, where Jesus shared bread and wine with his disciples, establishing the Sacrament of the Eucharist. As evening arrived, the faithful gathered to celebrate the start of the Triduum with the Mass of the Lord's Supper. Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., gathered with the faithful to reenact the washing of feet.
Good Friday: A Day of Solemn Remembrance
On Good Friday, the faithful gathered for the Liturgy of the Lord's Passion, entering into the profound mystery of redemption and grace. The atmosphere is somber and heavy with the weight of sorrow and repentance. All present are invited to venerate the cross by showing a gesture of veneration by genuflecting or bowing showing humility and veneration to the cross.
