The Archdiocese of Las Vegas and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came together this morning for their first collaborative food drive, marking a new milestone of interfaith cooperation in Southern Nevada. A full semi-truck of over 32,000 pounds of food was delivered for distribution through Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada and Catholic food pantries at Parishes across the valley ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. The food came from the Bishops' Central Storehouse of The Church of Jesus Christ in Salt Lake City, Utah.
